Only a 6 hour flight from western Europe (and no jet-lag) it offers an amazing selection of sub-Saharan African birds and is the ideal choice for both first-time African birders and those wishing to add to their experience of African birds. Unlike East Africa or South Africa there is little in the way of big game, however this allows for greater focus on the birds whilst walks through the bush give easy access to birds without the risk of being mauled, gored or eaten!
